I have entered six of my photographs in the State Fair - I've always wanted to enter, but this is the first year I got my pictures in before the deadline! It's also the first contest I have ever entered with my photos, so hopefully I'll win a few prizes. Winning photos get a little money, but it's not about the money - I want to see what other people (specifically judges) think of my work. (Even 1st place wouldn't cover the cost of entering them, anyways ). I plan on looking for more competitions to enter in, hopefully some local and national contests. Anyways, wish me luck!
